County, 15 miles northeast of Cedar Rapids on four-lane Highway

How to Get Here
Morning - Shop Downtown Central City
Historic buildings, true-to-period renovations and of course
small-town friendliness await you at the shops of Downtown Central City.
Most shops open at 10 am M-F and many businesses open Saturdays.
- Central City Pharmacy for a wide assortment of high-quality gift items,
greeting cards and an old-fashioned candy counter.
- The French Hen for antiques
- Just north of the Pharmacy you can find the award winning artwork of
Naser and Patricia Shahrivar at the Art and Gift Center. The Art and Gift
Center also carries a line of jewelry and a collection of beautiful vases.
- Facettes, Inc. for beaded jewelry and gifts.
- Beauty Bank for a Manicure and/or Pedicure
- A Simple Touch for a massage.
12 PM - Lunch
- Pick up a sandwich at Subway or the Country Store, both on Highway 13, for a
picnic lunch at Pinicon Ridge Park.

Afternoon - Enjoy scenic Central City
- Nature Lovers can walk the trails, fish or even go canoeing at Pinicon
Ridge Park just west of Highway 13 in Central City.
- Check out our new bike trail and Splash pad with the kids.
- Enjoy a round of golf at the 9 hole Meadowview Golf Course.
Meadowview Country Club is a nine hole public golf course located
on the East edge of Central City featuring Bent Grass greens and
Bluegrass fairways. This is a challenging course with many rolling
hills. The fairways are narrow, and the greens are medium speed.
There are several water hazards with sand bunkers and trees coming
into play throughout the course
