| Central City Introduces New Brand for Central City |
On Thursday, January 27, 2011, Jim Thompson from Main Street Iowa came to Central City to formally introduce the new brand for marketing Central City. Many of our local Mainstreet Volunteers and other committee members worked long and hard to give Central City a new brand and new image. This branding idea is an old concept that we have never utilized in our city. This brand can be used by all of Central City's businesses, volunteer groups, activity groups, school groups, and our school.
This brand is to help potential visitors or residents remember us and want to move into or visit Central City. After the brand was established, Jim Thompson asked that we write a branding statement that can be used for promotional purposes for any of our local entities to utilize. You will find the branding statement with the logo, colors and fonts that should be used when using the Central City brand.
In attendance at the branding introduction were many of our local business owners, bank representatives, Central City Mainstreet Board, Mainstreet committee members, and some interested citizens. If you want further information regarding the brand and the potential and possible uses for your organization or business, please call Julie Renberg at the Central City Mainstreet Office, 438-1761. She can fill you in and give you any help in preparing your marketing strategy with our new brand. |
