Waterhouse Centre Grand Opening, September 12-13, 2009
The
Grand Opening of the Waterhouse Centre, located at 49 South 5th St. in
Central City, was held Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13, 2009 from
Noon to 7 pm.
The Waterhouse Centre is located in the newly renovated Waterhouse Dairy building. Hundred of hours remodeling work took place over several months to complete the building's transformation and ready it for business and the grand opening.
The Grand Opening event featured a ribbon cutting ceremony, live music, door prizes, a chocolate fountain, free chocolate treats, coffee and popcorn and $1 Ice Cream Cones.
About the Waterhouse Centre
The Waterhouse Centre is the home of the Cones 'N Coffee Shoppe, "Everything Chocolate" Shoppe, featuring Xocai™ Healthy Chocolate, a Gift Shoppe as well as The Wildcat Den, a safe place for teens to meet friends and have fun. A section of the building is dedicated to historical items and photos related to the dairy and from the Waterhouse family. Outside the building is a large, beautiful patio area with seating, flowers and plants and a winding faux-stone walking path.
Cones 'N Coffee in the Waterhouse Centre will be open every Friday through Monday from Noon to 7:00 pm, featuring hand-dipped cones, floats, malts and iced coffee.
